runco lamp for 1000d

So far within 8 months I have had to replace the lamp at 1411 and 600 hours.
Does any one have any suggestions? I am stuck with Runco lamps since I wil break my warranty.
Any info would be appreciated.

What does Runco have to say about it? Not much else you can do except complain to them and keep replacing the bulbs.

Wow, and I thought I watch alot of TV. 2000 hours in 8 months is over 8 hours a day, every day. What kind of location is this unit being used in?
