Has anyone been able to get burned dvd's to play on the 360. It says it will play dvd-r, but mine will not play!

Well in an instant like this, if I have issues with my back up I just watch the original. Is there a reason you cant watch the original DVD?

my burnt mp3 dvd's don't play either.I plan on puting all music on a external hard drive abd pluging in the usb port.http://llamma.com/xbox360/mods/USB%20Hard%20Drive%20Mod.htm

lets just say I lost the original. yeah, anyhow doesn't really matter I have a phillips dvp 642 which will play anything I throw at it. I was just wondering because it says it will play dvd-r but it will not play mine, actually I have noticed quite a few products that say they will play burnt dvd's and will not.

that looks very interesting, that will save me re-ripping about 15000 tracks! and before you ask spottedfool every single one is paid for! (if you believe that you would believe anything)
Just tried a burned dvd done on a Ritek printable DVD-R burnt at 2x and it worked fine BTW

What program do you use? I am useing dvd shrink with nero and I use several different brands of disks. Maybe movies burnt with certain programs will work on 360 and others won't I just find that weird!
