Getting A DVR ...what can I do with it

I'm getting a DVR from D* and it has 2 tuners can I view 1 channel and record another? Can I run a line to another TV and veiw another show ?


Not sure what model they are bring out.

They only have one HD DVR, the HR10-250, it will let you record one thing while watching another or record two shows and watch a pre-recorded one granted you have two lines run from your dish to it. It can not output two different things at once.
