Advent 27" HT2751A Widescreen problem

I have noticed that in 16:9 mode, there are three lines; red, green and blue, right inside the top widescreen bar. I am not sure whether or not Advent used this to calibrate color or the reason it's even there. Has anyone figured out a way to disable it? Thanks for the help.

Well the only way i could fix it is by going into the service menu and changing the verticle postioning (the option is read "V-[something]"
It's on the 5th screen (the screen that shows the resolution currently displayed on-screen)
