hi there.would anyone know if i would i would still need to purchase a hd reciever from my sattelite company here in canada even if the tv i were to buy had an internal one? thanks.

With satellite, you always need an STB from them, the tuner in your TV won't work.

If you are considering BEV, I'd suggest you investigate the 9200. People love their DVRs. I guess with *C it's the 530?
