:mic:
Well after only 3 months of research, convincing my wife the need for a HDTV  , and many choices, from a LCD to a DLP to a Rear Projection, then to a LCD then a RP, and back to a LCD....and then some more research....Which mainly came from here and the FAQ's that 57U put together(THANKS SO MUCH). I finally bought one, :hyper: my wife says it will be my Christmas present.
I bought the Westinghouse 32" LCD. The picture quality on the analog is okay, not as good as my 32" flat screen, but figured as much, the digital channels look about the same, my wife says a little crisper, all of them are coming through a GI digital converter, using the RCA jacks instead of coax. The manual needs much improvement, like explaining things in better detail, especially the PIP/POP/PBP feature.
The Xbox 360 well I have found a new gaming console, from what I had last night. There is a huge difference in the picture quality. Well I ran upto our Headend and grabbed one of the new LG HDTV receiver's we got in for upgrading our local channels from analog to DTV, brought it home, got some regular rabbit ears hooked it up and did a search....our FOX and CBS had football games running on them in HD and I tell you it looks a lot better than just the regular analog....I asked myself why do they sell HD antenna's..if it makes it look better than just rabbit ears then I could understand why, but it is a totally different picture just using what I did.
THanks to everyone that has posted there questions and comments and replying to my questions.
Now I have to tell my VP of operations, to make sure the new HDdvr's they are ordering have have digital optical output, DVI output, since my DVD is component and my 360 is component....yeah I know I can use the 360 as a DVD player, but ya'know.
