Dish HD DVR, 921 or 942? (Samsung HL-5078W)

I am finally going to get me a DVR! Now I just need to figure out if it is worth spending $200 more on the dish 942 over the dish 921. From reading about the 2 DVR's, I gather that I would basically being paying $200 to add a second HD TV (which I don't have yet) to connect to the DVR. If that is really all the difference is then I think I should go with the 921. Is there anyone out there that has a preference between the 2 DVR's and why? Maybe some pros and cons between the 2. Thanks for any advice in advance?

The 942 can only output SD to the second output. It's the newer of the two models, don't know what the performance differences are between them though.

I don't know much about the 921, but I love my 942 :overclap: Rumor over at www.satelliteguys.us has it that the 942 will be "upgradable" or "swappable" to MPEG4. Depending on how MPEG4 rolls out, that may or may not make the 942 a better deal :headscrat That is, $200 now may save you that much or more down the road... That info. is still just a rumor, however.

Thanks for the input! Still have to win my fantasy football superbowl and then I will be purchasing. No more missing shows or battling the wife for the big TV on what we are watching.
