I used the THX Optimizer (located on Star Wars Episode 2) on ly LCD HDTV, the picture quality form my 360 has a HUGE improvment. My question is this...I set that up using a 720p output of the 360. I was told that I most likely have improved my PQ by about 60% but it could be even better if using a digital setup disk like the ones found here on the FAQ section.
My digital cable converter is hooked upto the TV by composite video cable, I was wondering if it would make sense to run the optimizer on a non-progressive scan DVD player using the composite videos cable to set the PQ up on the digital converter or just set it till I feel the picture is clear. Or should I get e VCR tape, copy the DVD set up disk to a tape and run it that way?
Each of my inputs allows for different settings.
I have Digital Video Essentials DVD coming in next week, so I am just trying to get a jump on things.
