I have an RCA model # P61310 61" HDTV, I know its an older TV, but one of the reasons I got the 360 was b/c of the HD. The tv works fine when the xbox cable is set to TV, but when I switch it over to HDTV, the xbox restarts and the screen gets all scrambled. I have the xbox set to 720/1080, but I don't know what the problem is. Do I need some kind of converter or something. I'm just frustrated. Anyway guys thanks for your help
This TV may not accept 720P signals. I don't believe the XBox setting is 720P/1080i, it's one or the other. Check your settings and set it to 1080i and see if that helps. Please do not cross-post. I've deleted your other post.

480p,720p,1080i... only selections for HD...
I have the RCA D52W23, and mine plays great...
do you have your HD cables running through a switcher/reciever, or straight to the TV?

as above..make sure your cables are set to HD. It looks like your tv does 408i, 480p and 1080i..so set the 360 dash to 1080i and your good to go
