DVD Question

Hi!

I have a progressive scan DVD player. My question is: when im using it with my plasma, is it supposed to play in 480i or 480p?

Mine plays in 480i and I think its supposed to be in 480p. PLease help.

Please provide the make and model of your player. Here are three things to try.

1. There should be a user setting for progressive scan.
2. There may be a "hard switch" on the back of the unit.
3. I assume you're using component video cables and there may be a user setting for the type of cable in the user menu as well.

It's not "supposed" to be 480i or 480P, that choice is up to you.
