I am afraid TV technology has totally passed me by in the last 10 years. I am ashamed at as I look at ad's & read, how little I know--I need help.
I have a 27" CRT now not even flat screen. Lousy picture, it's making me crosseyed in my advancing age. :D
I do not feel comfortable making a purchase without understanding the pro's & con's of LCD vs Plasma more clearly. I am hoping that the highly knowledgeable members of this community will/can help me with the info I feel I need to make my purchase. :overclap:
My wife & I have done a little looking and think anything any bigger that a 42-44" set will swallow up our living room.
I know I want HDTV built in, I have digital cable, now what do I buy?
Price is a huge concern, being we want to MAX out at $1,500.00 US.
I think that leaves plasma out of my reach, but again I am not sure.
What type of set is best guys? And what sets do you recommend in my price range?
Thanks for the help... :)
