So I just got a 30 inch widescreen HDTV from philips magnovox..it's one of the refurshbished ones from the www.outlet.philips.com website. First off, the picture on standard definition is noticeably grainy. It's worse than my 4 year old 19 inch standard definition TV. Also, I set my Xbox 360 to 1080i resolution which my TV does support and the quality is no where near HD. It's not crystal clear, the words are blurry and the picture looks average. Could this be a problem with the TV?? I know for sure that SOMETHING is wrong because I've played my Xbox on an HDTV before and it looked WAY better than it does on mine. Someone help please!
