Hey guys..i've been lurking trying to figure this stuff out, and I guess I am just a slow learning when it comes to this stuff..I was on a very small Budget and purchased a Toshiba 65HC15 and I'm going to connect it to my LSP's High Def PVR, which I think from looking at my Dad's tv(same one) should be a very nice picture. Now, I figured it would be lame to not have some good external sounds so I went to the Sony outlet store after giving myself a huge shock in the Bose store, and I purchased a refurbished DAV-FR8. Looked cool and sounded good enough to me for 400 bucks. So i'm excited till I get home and read some terrible reviews of the system. So after all this bable, i guess i'm just wondering. DO I have any chance of this system lasting? Does this system have any chance of satisfying my desire for quality picture and sound? I thought it was going to be a nice cost effective setup, and now i'm not so sure.
On another note apparently the dvd player has trouble reading dvd's and that is the main problem with the DAV-FR8, and I did intend to get an x-box 360 real soon anyways. How on earth am I supposed to know how to hook up everything so that I can have surround sound with the X-Box, Dvd player, and TV/HD PVR??
Any help guys?
