Ok, I bit the bullet went out and purchased a 50` Sony Wega 3LCD HDTV....

In the area I live in, comcast do not offer HD programming as of yet. I went out and bought a Philips 50DB indoor antenna (MANT510). Oddly enough, no directions in the box. Basically here is the question....I hooked up the antenna to the TV...leaving out the UHF/VHF/FM Matching Transformer.

Is that transformer the missing link? if so, where do you hook it up to, it has a coax input and then the seperated plated horse shoe looking thing on the other. I dont see a place to hook those in the back on TV....

Help?!!?

All you need to do is screw the "F" connector from the antenna into the antenna input on the back of the TV. No transformer should be necessary.

The big question is...

Have you checked www.antennaweb.org to see the stations, distance and directions of the digital transmitters?

Maybe an indoor antenna won't be the best option for you.
