Ok, I am redoing my wires in the back of my media center and on the back of my TV I have 2 sets of component inputs. One set I am going to use just for my HD DVR Box and the other set I am going to use for my 360, Gamecube, PS2, and XBox, all hooked up through a Pelican Sysytem Selector Pro 2.0 via another set of component cables. I also have a upscaling DVD player which I hook up through the HDMI port.
Now what I need to know is the any difference in the component inputs on the TV(i.e. only one will support 1080i). Here is what the Product Spec Sheet has about the connections on the back of the TV.
Rear Connections
AV1 : AV in, CVI/YPbPr
AV2 : AV in, S-Video
AV4 : HDMI (2fh auto)
AV5 : YPbPr/RGB 2fh
Monitor out : CBVS out, audio L/R out
The TV is a 30" Philips Widescreen Model# 30PW8402/37B
I really need an answer quickly so I get back to cleaning up the mess of wires behind the TV.
Thanks,

p.s.
I called the Philips Support Line and was told buy the guy AV1(CV1) will only do 480i but AV5 will do both 1080i and 480p. So it looks like I will be returning the upscaling DVD player and go back to plugging my HD cable Box back into the HDMI port. and then I will just run a progressive scan DVD player through one of the inputs in the Pelican Selector Pro, with the all my component usable video game systems.
