I'd be curious to see other's antenna installations. I'm considering moving my CM 4-bay bowtie from the attic to the roof and wanted to see how others were mounting their antennas, routing the cables, etc.

You know, HDTV Voice has a gallery (the link is in the upper right hand corner).
As for roof top installation, there are four options:
Eave Mount
Tripod Mount
Telescoping mast mount
Chimney Mount
Jpole mount
All of these would work great for you 4221. Unless you are really far out, or have immediate hills to overcome, and have a two or three story house, I would reccomend an eave, or chimney mount. This generally looks neater than a tripod, or guied mast installation.

You listed 5 options and left out the wall mount.. :D The eave mount or chimmey mount would work fine for the DB4 as stated, I went with the wall mount cause of the size of the 4228 I have.

Thanks for the replies... I'm interested in seeing how the cable-routing (ground, rotor, RG6 ground) worked out for those of you with antennas. I'm still debating on the types of mount I want to use, so I just curious on how people ran the cabling.

Most people route everything down the side of the house and of course you need to ground the lines where they enter the house.
