6412 random show deletions

Since I reset this box to get rid of the "89" recording, every once in a while this happens: the show is listed as recorded, the recorded time is listed as 60 minutes, all seems normal. When I hit play, the screen immediately goes to the "delete recording" box and I have no choice but to do so. I'm wondering is is time for box swapping again.

Hey Eldorado,

Long time no chat, I also had this occur to me a couple of times since I reset my STB to delete the 89 recording. Since then I got another 89 recording which I wont be resetting because it seems that if you reset the STB it will go through the same number of recording bugs which you might have experienced previously. I got two recording errors the way you describe and since then none this is what happened prior to the original reset of the 89 recording.

I read from a google search that the 89 recording occurs because the STB looses power while it is recording a program. My most recent 89 occured because the universal power button was hit while recording on both tuners and the STB accepted the command instead of getting the usual warning message. Anyhow if I get more instances of the 89 recording I will probably reset but not until then.
