Does anybody have any experience with a slingbox?

No personal experience, but I know a little about it. I don't think they support HDTV though, do they?

No HDTV support that I know of - I've used one for awhile, been happy with it.
It's what let me watch hockey games on my laptop while I was in LA... *******s have nothing but basketball on TV!

I have the Slingbox Pro and am very happy with it. I have both the HD and the SD outputs of my Dish DVR connected to it. The HD programming looks really good over my local network. It's not HD quality - the box doesn't output HD - but it's very good wide screen SD.
Over the internet, though, it's a different story, but that's not the fault of the Slingbox. My DSL uplink speed is only 384 kB, so it can't handle the quality of the HD signal as well as the SD. The SD looks better, but there's still pixelation when there's a lot of movement. It's watchable though.
The weak link in the Slingbox is the built in tuner. It's analog only and it's not very sensitive. Unless you have a very strong signal you get a snowy picture. Weak stations that look fine on my TV don't come in at all on the Slingbox tuner.
