Upconverter

Does anyone know anything about this product. I want an HDMI based DVD recorder and VCR player. Basically, I want to enjoy my DVD's by upconverting them and enjoy my VHS tapes and transfer a few onto DVD's. It will be connected to my JVC 40" LCD HDTV not an amp. Any advice is appreciated. Thanks.

I think this is the only upconverting DVD/VHS recorder available. We have the VR 320 at work and have had no problems with it. As far as the upconversion, some people say they see it, others don't. I guess you could always try it and see if you like it. Maybe buy it from somewhere with a good return policy.
