This is strange, when setting new tv up and scanning for available channels, (tw cable), it will not recognise any channel higher than 48 with 77 plus channels available. After that it is snow. Emailed Panasonic, also on phone to tech for an hour before getting disconnected. So, basically all common troubleshooting has been done. Any ideas? :sobbing: Please?

Are you subscribed to the channels higher than 48? Sometimes there's a "block" put on the line into your house for certain analogue channels. I'm assuming that you are talking about the analogue channels.

Have you contacted TW?

Were you getting these channels before with another TV?

Do you have the cable going to the corrent "ANT" input on the TV?

When scanning you usually have to scan for certain channels. See the operating manual for the TV as you usually need to "select" for "Cable" or "OTA", etc.

Are you not interested in getting the HD channels? You will need an external STB to get those...

No, I have not contacted TW.
Yes, the cable to channel 77 in that room worked before, and to be sure, we hooked another TV up today and channels above 48 worked. So, I am sure cable works correctly.
No, I am not interested in HD right now.
I will make sure correct ANT is selected but it must be to get channels to 48?
Yes, cable is selected.
I hope it is not the TV. The scanning for channels did this right out of the box, so no human tweaking to screw it up.
We will call Panansonic tech tomorrow again, but looking for any advice before then.

Are you sure the tuner is set to "cable" and not "air"?
The tuner is 125 channels for cable and 69 for air.

Yes, I am sure. I am not doing the troubleshooting, but I seen 'cable' as each step was done per Panasonic.
This is going to drive me nuts. Have to wait till my son gets home from work he will being calling Panasonic tech again, hopefully we will not get disconnected this time. After an hour on the phone. The tech was also confering with someone else, kept getting put on hold.
