I've lost my manual for my Panasonic PT-53WX53G. My picture is too big for the screen & I lose the edges. I tried to udjust the aspect but it didn't help. How can I adjust the picture to fit? Panasonic doesn't provide a digital manual so I'm stuck. Please help! Thanx.

With most HDTVs it's normal to have about 4-6% overscan. Have you tested the actual overscan on your TV using a setup disk like AVIA or DVE? See the HDTV FAQ "What you neeed to do to your new HDTV".

Many service menus have adjustments for VSize and HSize, or something similar. Not sure about the Panny. Do not go below about 3% overscan, otherwise you'll end up seeing VBI information, etc that shouldn't be on screen.

This adjustment information would not be in the operating manual - you'd need to order the service manual. On some TVs the overscan adjustment is done via potentiometers on the circuit boards, but one needs to be very careful doing that because I hear it can stress the components.

You can get the manuals at www.panny.tv. It may be for an older model, but not too much different.
