Thanks to all on this forum - I've been lurking and learning for several weeks.
Man, don't go shopping if you're not prepared to buy! Hi-Fi Buys in Atlanta had a flyer in Thursday's (1/9) paper advertising the Pioneer Elite Pro 520HD for $2999, which seemed like a great deal. I had seen the Pioneers, loved them, but wasn't in the market at $4000+ I was looking hard at the Mits 55" 511.
They had sold out of the 520's, but offered me the new 530 at the same price. Seemed like too good a deal to pass up. I really wanted the built-in tuner that the Mits offers, but I'll just have to buy an external one.
I'll come back with a report (or questions...) when I get it set up.
