Generally, what kind of quality do installers use? I'm having problems with my new HDTV and am wondering if possibly the Directv installers use low end/cheap component cables.
I know Monster is overpriced etc. and not looking to go that route... I'm going to pick up some hdmi and new component cables if they generally use cheap stuff.
Anyone have any ideas on what they usually use?

Whatever comes in the box, it should be sufficent. What type of problems are you having? I doubt the cables are causing them.

Really poor reception of normal channels and programs in 1080i mostly TNTHD is aweful. I made a post about it in the newbie section and was pointed in the right direction. It's a Toshiba 30HF85 and did a search and found some interesting stuff about it, but I'm still baffled... I'm thinking of calling the installers and see if there is something wrong. Is it a warantee issue with the TV itself, etc... I'm just trying to hit all bases myself but am not realy getting anywhere.
See the following HDTV FAQs;

Try to confirm how they hooked it up in the first place also.
