I was so pleased to see that HBO presented this film in it's OAR! I was out of the house on Saturday night when it was first aired, but sat down to watch it on the new plasma last night. It looked absolutely breathtaking! If you haven't checked it out, find out when it's on again and give it a look.
I hope they start doing this more often!

Our movie network (The Movie Network) always asks for OAR, however, the studios do not always send what's requested. About 1/2 the time we get the 1.78 version of 2.35:1 movies.
Sometimes, the 1.78 version is not cropped, rather it contains "extra" information from the bottom of the original master that was not intended for viewing in the cinema. T3 is one such example.
Although SWIII was excellent in terms of visual and audio (DD5.1) quality, I felt like a cat watching a hockey game. There was movement on the screen, but that's about it... ;)

I'm not a big star wars fan myself,But I'm sure it looked good in HD.I never/ever seen a Star Wars movie for beginning to end.Am I the only one.

I watch the first 5 from beginning to end. I fell asleep in the theater during Episode 3 :sleeping: . But, I'm going to watch it this afternoon. I caught the last 30min. last week and the special effects looked real good in HD. Which is the sole reason I'm viewing it today.
