I have the 60 inch SXRD and I've read and heard many times that these screens don't have the issues w/ burn in that others do. Why not? Can anyone explain the technology to me?

Thanks,
MP

See the HDTV FAQ on "Burn in". Burn in is associated with CRTs and Plasmas which have "phosphors" that "age" at different rates with different input.

The other technologies don't have phosphors, therefore no variable aging.
