What is the main difference between this two Sony up-conversion DVD players? My new Sony 60" LCD is coming soon and i want a Sony DVD Player to match. I will be using an HDMI input to connect the DVD player to the TV. Do you guys think that there is a picture quality or sound quality difference between the two? I know that DVPNS90V seems to can play SACDS and the other one cant. but im not too worried about that. Im mainly worried about pictue and sound quality. Do you guys think there will be a difference in them between the two models? I can get the S90V for around 200 bucks and the S75H for around 130 bucks. Is the S90V really worth the extra money in the picture and sound quality dept.?? Thanks in advance.

DMB1130:
The units are identical in DVD picture playback from what I researched.
Unless you are going to play SACD discs the 75H should do fine.
I have a 60" Sony LCD RPTV and it looks fine using the Sony changer.
HDMI hookup with either eliminates the digital-analogue-digital conversion and should provide a great upconversion picture.
The built in decoder in the 90 model is not needed if you have a Dolby Digital 5.1 or better AV receiver already and are using it for surround sound.
Audio using toslink optical digital or coax digital output from either DVD player to the AVR should be fine if that is what you are doing for sound.
Crutchfield's website allows a side-by-side comparison, too.
Save the $70 and get the 75H which is a fine player to match your new Sony set.
Hope this helps you out! :D
