Recently, I attempted to renew the extended warranty on my Sony HDTV. In fact I tried to do this about four different times and although I've talked to a number of people at three different telephone numbers and been assured that they will look into it and call me back, they do not do as they say and as a result, my existing extended warranty has since expired. I've also sent emails describing the situation and have received nothing more than a "thank you for contacting Sony, someone will get back to you....or, call this number", which is one of the same numbers I've used already.
So, my questions are:
- Has anyone else encountered this?
- Does anyone have any suggestions on how to handle this?
