I added a Pace HD dc551p and the hd channles turn pink this is only with the hdmi connection, Bright House told me my set has to many pixels.Is this the problem or can I fix with adjustment.

A pink colour is often associated with a poor connection. Unplug the cable and check for bent/broken pins. Also unplug and replug the cable several times to make sure you have a good connection. Lastly, if that doesn't work, try another cable.
Your plasma doesn't have too many pixels. That's a new stupid answer that I hadn't heard yet. Good for a laugh though.
Make sure that the Pace is set up properly though. See the HDTV FAQ "Tips for SA STBs". A lot of what's discussed there is applicable to the Pace units.

You may also want to check for firmware updates from panasonic. I have updated my set twice, which resolved some issues.

I went to Bright House and picked up a Scientific Atlantic 8300 box at an extra $7.00 a month and connected the hdmi and did not have the pink hue problem.I put my pace on the sony and now it turns HD channels pink, if I flip the channel back and forth it gets rid of the pink hue. thanks for the replies.John
