Advent HT2751A Comcast Remote Code?

Comcast can't help me... maybe you can.

Going crazy trying to find a code that will work with this TV. Here are my options:

Of course, "Advent" doesn't work.

Some remotes have a "scan" mode that goes through all the frequencies (manually or automatically).

Also, the Advent may be made by someone else, if you can find out that company name, that may help.

Thanks... I wasn't having much luck with the scan... but it finally found a code that works. When I go through the steps to figure out what code it picks, it doesn't work... oh well, I'm just glad I got it working.

For everyone else bashing on the Advent Tv.. well, you'll all probably right :) Ours works ok, but there's a really anoying buzz from the speakers. I just got a digital cable receiver so I'm now piping the sound through my DVD surround sound. MUCH better :)

if you ever have anymore trouble i think the code is 820 for the tv or 842 Advent is a company of jensen so that may help you along the way


and for all the other people i got my Advent HT2778A at Circuit City one year ago and let me say the HD on this set with my comcast box is perfect not one prob.
