Hey all! First night here on HDTVoice, and I have a question for ya. I have a Radio Shack uhf OTA with the 40" boom, and Dish 500 SAT. I've got my diplexers, and was told that I could put one outside between the DP34 switch and the line coming in to combine the signal, and the other one would go inside to seperate the two signals again. My question is...which of the two cables do I use coming off the satellite switch, receiver1 or2? Thanks for any help or direction, Highlander

The 2 cables coming off the Dish itself must go into DP-34 switch supplied by DISH
The diplxor comes in after the switch and then again before the TV or TVS.

I do not recomend Diplexors unless you live in a very strong signal area. For digital OTA a straight feed to your tuner works best. Each time you split the line you loose signal strength. Since the diplexor is a 2 splits, you could loose up to 4 db in signal strength per split
