Problem with HDMI outlet (DVD)

Hi all,

When I access my HDMI input and turn on my DVD player, my screen displays a rainbow colored graffiti. I have a Sharp Aquos LCD with a Samsung DVD player (fairly new). I was watching a movie two days ago just fine, but when I put a movie in tonight, I got video but there was no sound. Now there is only graffiti. Any help is appreciated.

I got the video back but there is still no audio..

Check your HDMI connection by unplugging/replugging it several times at both ends. Also check for bent pins. See the HDTV FAQ "Things to check first".
