Sony deal ?

Hello all,

My neighbor is moving soon and he has offered to sell his hdtv to me. I am looking to get and hdtv so I think this might be a good deal. The model number is Sony KV-34HS510 (2 years old). He said I could have it for $640 w/ warranty.

Since I am a newbie when it comes to hdtv's, I am trying all options to get advice from experienced persons to let me know if this is a good deal or not.

Well, a quick look on the internet shows used models selling ~$1000. So, it appears to be a good deal.
