I just installed a CM 3671 Antenna along with a CM Rotor and a Winegard 8275 Amp 9 (used RG6 cable). I would consider my location to be "deep'fringe", 70 miles from DC and 45 miles from Charlottesville Va. The best HD signal appears to be CBS from DC, then ABC and the weakest NBC from Ch'vlle. PBS from DC fades in and out.

My question is, Is there anything else I can do to improve my signal? Will raising my antenna up another five feet help much? Will gold plated cables help? What else can I do?

I haven't measured my signal strength because I don't know how.

You seem to have the right hardware for the job. I think all you can do is go higher.

Also... it may just be that some of those stations are x-mitting at low power levels.

Thank you Ratman
