Question about Ant200b indoor anntena.

Hi,

I just bought a indoor anntena (ant200b) made by rca.
I got it for like $5. i brought it home and hooked it to my tv.
I recevie about 12 channels . which are listed on anntenaweb.org
Most Towers are 20 - 35 miles away from my home. about 3 i think under 20 miles.

My zip code is 40336

i live in apartment buildings on the first floor (Only two story building)

I have great sound but image is bad.
When i turn down the strength on the Anntena it goes to back and white picture which looks better than what it does in color.

So what can i do to make the picture come in better.

Your not watching digital channels if that's what you are trying to receive. With digital either you have a picture or you don't. As for the analog channels, you need to experiment with antenna placement and/or other antennas. Being limited to indoor models, you may never get a great picture on analog stations.
