Cable remote with Westinghouse TV

Have a 40 Westinghouse LCD. Can't get my cable box remote to work the TV. The 2 codes suggested don't work. Cable co. and Westinghouse tec advice no help.???????????????
Any suggestions?

Check the manual for the cable remote. Many times they have a "search" function that will find the proper code by holding a conbinatoin of buttons.
