I'm flipping back and forth between these sets. I plan to use it as a PC monitor/gaming. I watch alot of TV shows off my PC. Also, I plan on using it for an XBox 360.

I would choose the Panasonic, but since you will be using it as a monitor and for gaming, you have to be careful of getting burn in. Prolonged viewing of static images will cause this so maybe the Sony is better for you.

Thanks for your opinion. It's appreciated. 3 weeks til I get the money. So still time to do more research. Went to Best Buy and took a look at both TVs. They had the Sony hooked up to an HD DVD player and the Panasonic I'm not sure but some sort of HD signal. The Plasma looked better in many ways but its still hard to say with different inputs.

I've heard that before but than I've also heard Plasma's have gotten better with burnin. Has anyone had problems with recent model plasma's as PC moniters?

I wouldn’t risk burn in. Go with the Sony.
