Hello everyone,

I have an ILO 32" HDTV set. I have it hooked up to my XBox 360 playing in 720p. The other day we had to many electronics running in our house and this caused my TV to cut off while running twice. Ever since then I thought I noticed that my TV has been slightly more blurry. I'm kind of obsessive compulsive and I think it's all in my mind. What I want to know is the TV getting cut of like that could cause something like this. I just realized that I dont have my TV hooked to a power surge, but instead a power tap. Please go easy on me, I'm a newb :). Thanks for helping.

Edit* I figured the only way for the TV to get more blurry would be for lines or pixes themselves to go out, but maybe I'm wrong.

If you had pixels or whole lines of pixels out, it wouldn't cause bluriness, the dead pixels would stand out like a sore thumb.

Don't know, just telling you it's not dead pixels. What did you have running in the house that pulled enough amps to kill the TV?

Did you try ajusting any of your setting, after the loss of power?

The power blip could have perhaps changed some settings on the TV or Xbox 360. Have you checked the settings on the 360 to ensure it's still set to output HD?

Have you tried a DVD player? How does it look?

Have a look at the HdTV FAQs:

- Things to check first.
- What you need to do to your new HDTV
- Etc.

Thanks for the help guys. Yeah, I checked the settings on both the TV and 360. There probably wasnt any problem in the first place.
