I went to Sears today (8/19) and they matched CC sale price of $3,330 for the new 60" SXRD. Plus, I got an extra 10% off the difference and another EXTRA 10% cash back rebate off the price for using my Sears card. it was ether %10 cash back or 18 month no intrest if you use your sear card.
So, I paid a little under 3k + tax out the door!sweet!!!!!!! :rockon:

The only down fall is that they did not have it in stock .salesman told me they are getting a shipment in Monday. anyway I got a hell of a deal from local store and not online! the trough of returning this baby if something goes wrong from buying online could be quite frustrated!

See what happens when you pit once Brick & Mortar store against another?
When the consumer shops intelligently, they win.
The markup on these sets is just phenominal, so don't feel bad for the retailer.
With the savings on the set you got, you it is like getting the extended warranty or stand (or whatever you wanted to go with the set) for a discount, or even for nothing.
Enjoy your set when you get it and check the build date.
