Well I was looking at buying the Sony Grand Wega 42" KDF-E42A10, but no-one ever had them in stock when I was able to buy. I went to a few stores to purchase a 42" Samsung DLP, but first 2 stores were out of stock so went to the third and they had the the sony and samsung in stock(1 each). I must say that the DLP had a brighter picture but I noticed some blurring in fast movements.
Well I got the Sony KDF42A10, I got it home and couldnt beleive how good it looked. I am using analog and digital cable TV service, and I am pleasantly impressed with the ability to hlep reduce the noise of hte incoming signal so that it helps keep the anaolg cable clean. THe HD tuner was #2 reason I got the TV, and boy o boy....I had a 32" LCD Westinghouse and thought that had a great picture but I tell ya, this Sony is much better much much better.
I used Digital Video Essentials yesterday to help get the setting right. I am using a 360 on it and HOLY COW there is a difference when going bigger, you acutally see certain things that you dont on a 32". Very pleased with my SOny.
