I recently purchased the TXM2796HF from Best Buy, and have noticed a problem that has developed with the reception.
The TV will occasionally lose its cable signal (the screen will be completely filled with static and there will just be static noise) for 5-6 seconds. After that, the TV reacquires the signal and everything seems to be fine. This happens about once every 1-2 hours. This only seems to happen when I'm watching TV, not when I'm watching a video or DVD.
Any thoughts as to what the problem may be? I am using the same cable service, cable outlet, and coaxial cable line that I had used on my previous television, and had never given me any problems.
