Panasonic HDTV PT-47WX53G Picture/Lined Snow

Not sure what I did as the TV was fine earlier today. Now when I turn it on, you can see the picture under "lined snow". I have turned off, reconnected the sat. Please advise as I really do not want to have service on this.

If possible, please post a digpix of what you are seeing. Also, please describe how the connections to the display are made and also if you are seeing the same issues with other input sources.

I also have this problem can anyone help? I tried everything like changing cables and cleaning the contact points. White lines (stripes) just appear on the screen.
Channels such as X-1 X-2 etc are not affected only those such as X (replace X with a number). The channels affected are those with full screen picture. DVD input is also affected.

i Also have this problem and i was informed by a tv repair-man that the problem was the the chip that controls the HD part the "processor chip" is what i was told.

my problem to the exact T is this,
my tv has hundreds of blue lines through it and the sound works fine but what good is sound with no picture? it doesent matter what chanel or connection it uses it all has these blue lines in it. you CAN see the picture but you have to stand back a ways and it still has those really anoying lines in it.

Please help me and i know this is a rather old t.v. and a rather old thred but i am still using this tv and i would really apericate any help at all!

i also read all the posts on the convergence problem with this tv and have come to the conclusion that this is not the problem. the tv has no problem staying on it just has thousands of blue lines through it!
