Help with Panasonic

Hey guys,

I'm needing some help trying to fix my Panasonic PT-WX49E.

Was watching it and it turned itself off.
Try to hit power and nothing.
Unpluged the set for 5 minutes
Tried it again, it did turn on for like 10 seconds then back off.

I took the panel off and did notice that there is a big black ( looks like a sylonoid to me) with two red wires coming into it.
When I hit the power thats where the click for the power is.

Could this be it?

Any and all information would be greatly appreciated.

thats called a flyback and it will always click when you hit the power button unless you have a blown fuse. what you do is buy a can of freeze spray, let ur tv play till it dies, leave it plugged in and spray areas individually and hit the power button after each area, keep doing it until you spray one part and it turns on, then let it warm up and turn off again, then spray individual parts until you find the one that makes ur tv turn of when it warms up....
