just thought i'd let you all in on a good laugh, and yes this laugh is on me.
recently mounted my sammy 5053 on the wall and went to buy cables for it.
went to bestbuy and found an 8' set, but they just happened to be made by Monster......other choice was Accoustict Research, but those were 12' and i wanted to keep things short and slim.
my Son and i had a few bad vibes between us as his advice was that the AR's would do the job.
well needless to say, i got the cables run down the wall, hooked everything up and WOW, what's this funny wavy grainey effect going on? didn't see it with the too short cheap cables that we got from Comcast. in an effort to get things buttoned up, we went back to BB to get the cheaper AR's, but alas they sold out. next attempt as it was late, was to get a $15.00 set by GE from our local Target store.............amazing, these weren't doing the job either, but they were a huge improvement over the Monster cables :rofl2: of which i'll never buy a Monster product again.
next day i was in San Luis Obispo (town we go to for wife's school) and found another set of AR's...............everything is perfect now.
sorry Monster, but you need to quit living on your name, and give epople what they pay for.
