After messing with my old TV today and blowing out one of the video inputs I think it's time to start my dive into HDTV. I looked at what will fit in my tiny livingroom and a 30" widescreen will be sufficient. Just wondering if anyone has anything pro or con to say about this model.
I'm presently using a Panasonic Superflat CT-27SF22 hooked to a Uniden SQ590 C and Ku band BUD with a 4DTV sidecar unit and OTA with several local networks available in HD.
Thanks in advance for any helpful comments.

Had mine about 6 weeks and am very pleased with the image quality and set features. Needed the small size to fit existing cabinetry.:)

Falls Guy,
I just spent the last 3 months pricing and comparing the Panasonic and the Samsung. I finally ended up buying a leftover Panasonic CT-30WX50 last week I'm waiting for delivery sometime in the next day or 2.
It's going to take me a couple of days just to set it up because of all the things I'm running right now.
I've got an 8' C-band dish hooked up to a Uniden Sq590 C/Ku band reciever, 4dtv sidecar unit, Pansat 2100a Mpeg-2 fta reciever, Dish 500, Panasonic DVD-CV50 DVD player, Panasonic PV-4651 VCR and an off air antenna.
My wife is afraid I'm going to burn down the house with all the wires and cables. I don't even want to get her going with the thought of a surround sound system.

Hope you are pleased with the new set when it arrives. Likewise I spent weeks trying to find something that would fit in the cabinet. My wife says I have the house so wired that she has to stay married to me in order to watch television.

Had the TV for the last week and a half. So far I've only been able to watch OTA SD, C and Ku Band Analog, Dishnet and Mpeg-2 FTA digital signal. I hooked up the DVD player with the component video cables and the picture was awsome. VHS is hooked up but I haven't even turned it on I'm afraid I'll be dissapointed with the picture. I'm waiting for my HD box to arrive. I found an Integra UM 910s box, hopefully that will set me on the road to real HD.

Hope you enjoy it. I have a SA3100HD for my Cox cable service. ABC, CBS and Showtime HD look great on the set. Also enjoy that progressive scan DVD, but the HD is truly impressive. Enjoy!
