I purchased my set april 2002, the set has worked flawlessly until now. Today I have some kind of a picture problem. It was too late to call the retailer to get somes names of repair people. I would like to find out what is going on.
I turned on the set. The sound and a distorted picture came on for a few seconds. The distorted picture is a full light green picture with little white specs to partially out line some people. The set then shut off. Repeated this 3 time. Other TVs in the house work fine, no cable problems.
Unpluged the set from the APC UPS battery backup for about 1 hour. I turned on the set. The sound and the same picture came on. The picture went out after a few seconds, but the sound stayed on. The sound is okay.
