Anyone have the Dell W3706MC and care to share thoughts? This is a model which is on my list for consideration but I have seen little feedback on Dells in general. The fact that historically they are not a television company makes me a bit wary, although I own one of their laptops and it is super. They have good warranty service, too.

I recieved my W3706MC earlier this week so I'm still playing with it. Overall its a really nice TV with lots of inputs. The picture quality seems good esp when watching HD content. Works great hooked to my Adelphia HD DVR. I also hooked up an over the air HD antenna and it tunes in the station really well.
I really do like Dells warranty service (once you get thru to someone). I recieved my TV and one of the speakers was damaged (had to happen at factory as box had no damage). Called Dell and new speakers were overnighted to me. Have to love Dell Next Business day service. Even if something happened and you didn't call till late the longest your without the TV is a few days.
My only grip/concern right now is its use as a computer monitor (at least 60% of what I'll use it for). I think I spoiled myself as my laptops native resolution I've been using for about 2 years is 1920x1200. The Dell TV supports 1360x768 when used as a monitor. So for me everything looks BIG. Everyone I've shown it to likes it but after using 1920x1200 I feel too much real estate is lost. If you've been using 1024x768 or 1280x1024 for your computer monitor then you'd probably feel right at home on this TV (seems to be the resolution all my friends use on their home computers).
I just ordered a Westinghouse 37" 1080P monitor since at least half of my use will be with a computer. Since I got a good deal on this I'll probably keep this and let my son use it as his TV and computer monitor in his room.
If you do decide to get one look at Dells outlet on refurbished TVs (this one is refurbished and you can't tell it from new). You can save a few hundred dollars and use the savings to increase your warranty out to 3 years not really spend any more than a new one with only a one year warranty.
