I'm looking to get a KDS-50a2000.Just want to see if someone can tell me how Standard Def.tv looks with this model? Also whats the Difference between XBR1 and XBR2,and I heard also that there is XBR3? What would be Difference? :thankyou3

The XBR1 has DRC v2.0 and the XBR2 has v2.5 which, combined with other electronic processing, should give you the best of SD and HD signal processing, more SD use if anything.
XBR3 is a line assigned to the high-end Bravia LCD flat panel line, not SXRD.
The A2000 line of SXRD is available in the 50-55-60 inch diagonal sizes only and has different signal processing circuitry that the either XBR series, though from what Sound & Vision Magazine tested, you should be quite happy with the picture on the 50A2000 from most signal sources, including SD programming.
I have seen the set and have thought it quite good enought to recommend it to clients and they have been equally happy with this A2000 series, too.
