Hello all
I have a problem. Hopefully someone smarter than me can help. I have this antenna

http://www.radioshack.com/product/index.jsp?productId=2103088&cp=2032057.2032187.2032189.2032205&pg=2&parentPage=family

I have these stations in my area

http://www.antennaweb.org/aw/Stations.aspx

M problem is I can not seem to tune in any digital channels. I am able to receive 18 vhf signals. I feel as if I am missing something simple. Any help would be great .
Thanks
Vernon

Do you have a digital tuner in the TV or just an analog tuner??? :smokin:

You can't link to antennaweb, please cut and paste the channels you are trying to receive.

It seems you get 3 channels and they are all close. Is your antenna pointed the correct way? You may have too much antenna. Try a digital only channel scan.

Note:

the antenna should be pointed right at 3 of the towers 3.1 6.1 and 7.1
The antenna is pretty much above the tree line right now
Too much antenna? Wouldn't it still work?
Thanks for the help guys I am at a complete loss trying to figure out what is wrong

To much antenna can overload the signal and then it would not get a lock. BUT from what I read you are not getting the tuner to register the digitals. Have you tried manually tuning to one of them?

When I manually select my channel I get zip(black screen) with my tv telling me it is tuning
I tried this one first http://www.radioshack.com/product/index.jsp?productId=2131034&cp=2032057.2032187.2032189.2032204&parentPage=family
I messed around with it for quite awhile and could only get one hd channel and the reception wasn't very solid(keep cutting out) so I returned it for the one I have now
Thanks

I must have stayed at a Holiday Inn last night! My problem has been solved.I was connecting my antenna lead to the cable input on the tv. Once I switched it to the vhf/uhf input she worked fine. My scan produced 20 digital stations.
Thanks for all the help and input guys.

When I looked at pictures of your TV , I thought maybe the antenna is in the cable input but then again No it couldn't be :rofl2: At least it wasn't a service call to find out your TV was not plugged in..
