Taking the Plunge

I am probably getting ready to buy the Panny TH-42PX60U. I would like to hear any experiences with that brand or just Panny in general. Never had a Panny before. I have a Samsung 42 EDTV plasma right now and hate the picture quality. I have done about 6 months of searching and researching so I hopefully have made an educated choice.

The Panny model you mention has been well reviewed and I've seen (and set up) plenty of them, and the 50" model in my travels. They are currently selling very well in Canada for just under C$2000 for the 42".

You should be happy with it. I've always owned a Panasonic TV never had a problem with any of them. Started with a 20in., to 27in., and now a 37in.HDTV. Kinda wish I kept the 27in.
