Hi
Well, they are two for two.
This year, due to the time change, all my regularly scheduled recordings are messed up. Unlike last year where there were "phantom" entries 1 hour before the regular recordings, now I have real recordings for the wrong show exactly two days after the date!
For example., SNL, which plays on NBCHD from 11:30pm to 1:00am didn't show up at the regular time, instead the PVR is trying to record the Tonight Show Monday nightfrom 11:30pm to 12:30am, and then Conan from 12:30am to 1:30am.
I had to go throught the entire schedule and delete everything and then start over for the second year running. So will next year 3rd time be the charm when this can be handled ok?
Chris
In Toronto, with Rogers, the firware also screwed up (the fifth time for me). This time only the "in this Timeslot" programmes were messed up. The "all episode" (name based) and "one episode" recordings were all fine.
Send a note to Videotron expressing your displeasure, politely. I certainly send one to Rogers each time this happens, appending it to the previous e-mail from the previous time change.
You even have newer firmware than we do (1.88 vs. 1.87).

Are you sure it's not just the place-holder that you are looking at? When a weekly (or less frequent) recording completes, a place-holder is set for 9 days out (at least in 1.88.x.x). This gets reset at some point after the IPG is updated and the next scheduled program shows up in the IPG.
For example, if you schedule SNL to record on Saturday from 11:30-1:30, a place-holder will be set when the recordings starts. This place-holder will be for the same times on Monday. Once the IPG updates through the following Saturday, this place-holder gets reset to the correct day/time. Recordings for First Runs muddies the waters somewhat if the following week's episode is a rerun.
It's highly possible the time change messed up the place-holders, especially those going past midnight, but it shouldn't have messed up all recordings unless, like 57U said, they were for Timeslot.

No, it really did mess up the recordings themselves (not time recordings). You can tell because if you go into the guide you will see that the PVR will record shows (shown in red) that are in the same timeframe but not the show that you wanted, (my example of SNL and the PVR trying to tape Leno)
Did you have those as "in this timeslot" recordings? If so, those need to be deleted and redone. If they were "all episode" or "one episode" recordings the unit should not do that.
If it does mess up the latter, then you need to delete and redo the scheduled recordings. You should also do a cold reboot of the STB (unplug, wait a few seconds, replug, wait a few minutes).

Hi
Yes, these were "in this timeslot". If I don't do that, some channels like Discovery that plays the same show about 4 times per day, well I get 4 recordings, so I always use "every day in this timeslot".
Those timeslot recordings will need to be erased and redone. I have about 3-4 of them and I redid them last Sunday, like I always do after a time change.
